Here I am testing the "Quick Compose" feature on Typepad. I'm not really sure what the point is. My first guess is that it's supposed to be like Tumblr.

Edit from within Typepad: There's no title! MEH. Also the permalink is a gajillion miles long. Whatever. I'll click an extra time or two to bring up the Compose window in Typepad. (Also, I know the Quick Compose thing has been around for a while; I was just never that interested in using it. I was right.)

I had the very same reaction to this "feature" as did you. I never use it.

I'm afraid I don't really understand Tumblr. My niece told me it was kind of like a blog, but not really -- and she is pretty up on things.

I never use it either--if I decide to post, I have a lot to say.(generally) So, I might as well do a regular post. :)
