Sometimes I write little blurbs in my head, things I think I should post here, but either the moment passes or I forget the phrasing I'd come up with.
Such is the case now. We just got home from a week in New York City, and I'd come up with a clever way to mention it here. Except I forgot. I know it had something to do with food. And walking. And [insert gushing words about New York City here].
I keep a little notebook with me, not that I remember to use it. Because I really need to write this stuff down.
Anyway, um, hi. *blows away the cobwebs*

I'm sure NY was amazing!! I would love stories and lots of photos.

Well, hi! (Wipes blown cobwebs out of eyes.) So what did you eat? Where did you walk?

Bonjour! NYC, I'm jealous. I've got to go there one of these days. I don't think my occasional meanderings around JFK count...

Oh my, and I thought I had been slacking off on blogging!
My daughters want to go to NYC so bad. I'll have to try to work something out one of these days, before they are old enough to just do it themselves (which will be soon...)
I've never even been there myself, which is kind of embarrassing as an American English teacher in France!

I'm happy you liked your time in the Big A... did you make it to Chelsea Market? Very cool place.
Glad you and Allan are well.

"Sometimes I write little blurbs in my head, things I think I should post here, but either the moment passes or I forget the phrasing I'd come up with. "
so typical for some kind of bloggers - there's so much more unwritten stuff I had in mind in my diary, than all that I ever wrote there - often it's just like that - if you don't write it down at once - it's gone forever.. - it's the system of: "catch your dreams before they slip away!"

So eager to hear about your trip to my home-town - I want to see it through your eyes!
