sad. i am upset i haven't visited before now to have seen this place for myself.

Oooh, Ali. It's very Edward Hopper "Nighthawks." Love it!

Now that's a real shame. We usher at a local theater, and I worry about it's future. It's in the 76th year (I think), and the building could use a lot of repairs.

That's always sad when an old theater closes.

I never went "in" to the Dame. When it first opened Emma and I would hang outside a bit and listen on our walks. It really did bring some life to that side of the block. It was cool to stand and watch the guys hauling in equipment and whatever. And then some of the bands had buses and they'd hang out around the corner at Mia's.

Looks like a great place. That's what I miss about the new, clean suburban utpia or surbopia that Corona is. There just aren't any of those old great places with the history, character and charm. And if they are here, I have yet to find them...

Hey Alison, I love the moody photo--totally conveys your sadness. Places like that are priceless.
