...is very fun.
I'm a HUGE fan of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade (Temple of Doom, not so much), and I was quite worried that this would be overkill. Not to mention lame.
I can safely recommend it. You'll laugh, you'll cheer, you'll jump in your seat, you'll grit your teeth. Lather, rinse, repeat.
And you'll
Indiana Jones.
(And that's all I'm saying. No spoilers, no analysis, no deep commentary. I ain't Pauline Kael, people.)
(Also, forgive the animated gif, but that's as good a way to express it as any.)

Sunday. I am going to the Sunday Matinee... with Austin!
I... CANT... wait.

I loved it as well! (Though I still love 'Raiders' and 'Crusade' more...) Plan to see 'Crystal Skull' again quite a few times still, while it is in my local cinema. Looking forward to discover more of the in-jokes and Spielberg's mise-en-scene.

I'm taking your word that the animated gif was the best way to express yourself because in the old days you would have said sacre bluie. I'm attentive that way.

I know that Geography teaching is forbidden in the USA. This film confirm it. Pancho Villa speaking Quechua? That guy was mexican, he only spoke spanish (not even native mexican languages) and quechua is a Southamerican language. But for many yankees "Mexico = Southamerica" and vice versa. And many many mistakes more, too long for write it here. Pyramids in Amazon forest? that belongs to Maya culture in Mesoamerica. Nazca is placed in desertic coast of PerĂº, not in andean mountains in Cusco and we (peruvians) don't listen mariachis music because PerĂº is not Mexico. Is so hard get or read an encyclopedia to know more about foreign cultures in the US? High prices of gas dont't let them money for buy History books? Or maybe they are very busy kissing and loving their guns for protect country against evil terrorism arab. Yes, the land of gun lovers, no doubt about it. From ten years ago I stopped watching Hollywood movies because are full of stupid mistakes and stereotypes. But a friend make me a invitation to try this. After see first errors in the film I was waiting for more: a frenchman saying "ooh-la-la" every 2 minutes, colombian drug dealers and Italian mafia; but they are missing. Even if this is a fictional movie, for me is a piece of shit. Sorry. I agree with this too. Fin.
