Stinky cheese for breakfast*. Mmmmmm.
St. Félicien, if you're curious. It's actually not that stinky. And the French don't typically eat cheese for breakfast.

Try Maroilles, it will do evil things to your olfactory system. I say a resounding "NO" to eating cheese for breakfast (hell, I barely ever eat breakfast!).

Oh gawd I'm envious. I've been thinking a lot about France lately--especially LR. I was thinking that if I made all the decisions in my world (Yeah right. Who gets to do THAT?), I would plan myself a trip back there this summer.
And I would eat stinky cheese for breakfast, lunch AND dinner. And dessert. And in the middle of the night.
Yum!

Have a good trip.

I love cheese - and any meal is just right. Last night we had scrambled eggs with cheese, and homemade toasted bread. Poor Don isn't feeling well, and that sounded good to him.

I could eat cheese with every meal. My favorite French cheese was Port Salut.

I do miss French cheese so much. And Swiss cheese, too. Ever had Appenzeller? Oh, does it stink. But I'm salivating just thinking of it.

I think actually in the Northern realms, cheese for breakfast is not that unusual. I know my husband has friends in the Oise who always ate a whole Camembert every morning with their bread.

Même que, contrairement à une légende tenace, il nous arrive parfois de nous brosser les dents pour éviter les relents de cheeeeeeeeeese.

I LOVE cheese for breakfast! Or lunch. Or Dinner. Or a second dinner. And of course, as a snack.

I love France because cheese is a staple and there are many varieties. Stinky or not. I love cheese.
Can you tell?
