This past week I've been out walking twice. I meant to go three times, but that didn't happen. I'm feeling less the need to stay cozy inside. I'm ready for fresh air. Exercise.
So it's a good thing, this walking. Who knew?
Now I'm laughing. Of course I knew. I used to do it a lot! Time to make it a habit again.

I love to walk, to run and to be outside. I think fresh air is very healthy.

sometimes it takes just doing it to remind ourselves. or at least for me. i wish it would stop raining so i could go for walks without getting soaked.
that's my current excuse. check me when spring hits. :)

I've been a lazy hunk o'lard all winter, despite doing some walking and even cycling in the fall. It's just too hard for me to get out in the cold for me. Yesterday was relatively mild in Aveyron, though, so things may be changing...

My damn comment didn't post, or so it would appear.
On well, here's the gist of it: I hunker down for the winter too.

Walking is a big sport in this neighborhood. When the Stunt Monkey was here, she joined the ranks of local walkers while I was struggling to waken. Damn her determination!

I am rejoining the "Shape Up PA" bandwagon (the program kicks off on Wednesday, February 13.) Walking will definitely be on my agenda!

I am so ready for the Springtime.. My son has been staying after school for track practices. It's been sunny and beautiful this whole weekend. YEAH!
Have a terrific rest of the weekend!
Bunches of hugs...

walking was all i did in my teens. trish and i walked EVERYWHERE. for fun, not for exercise. she and i didn't even get our driver's licenses until we were 26 because we didn't really need to, until that time. we walked. we both looked great. i hate walking around my "neighborhood", and i'm not that keen on the treadmill, but i do it. when the spring comes, i plan on walking in and around two beautiful cemeteries here near my home. peaceful, beautiful, and safe.
