sizzle

yay for yoga! (and for american idol- i watch it too. )

bhd

Well done!

Audra

You go girl! As far as American Idol, the guys were all CRAP! I hope the girls do better, because I heard NOTHING original or entertaining. So what if the last guy can do an "O.K." Jim Morrison song. I wasn't impressed. Bring on the girls and let's hope they don't let me down or I am done this season.

The yoga experience definitely improves with practice. Good for you!

I stopped going to yoga when the combined benefits of the exercise and opportunity to oggle hot women in tight workout clothes stopped outweighing the annoyance of listening to idiotic instructors blather on quasi-religiously. I miss the exercise, though. And the hot women in tight workout clothes.

anica

Woo Hoo!!! I heart Yoga! I am soo happy that you are doing so well.

Tiffany

It's amazing what your body can do for itself, isn't it? You might have just spurned me into doing my yoga DVD again. Damn you! I was really enjoying sitting on the couch and reading Harry Potter instead. (I know, I'm like a gazillion years behind everyone. Don't you judge me.)

I have been wanting to try Bikram Yoga for years - I LOVE working up a great sweat and need to do yoga more than the 2 times/month I currently get there. I'm wondering, does it get a little smelly from all the sweat? Definitely will need to bring my own mat. Thanks for the inspiration!

madame l.

almost tempted... you are brave!

why is it, that i felt best when i did yoga for about a year but find excuses to not do it? ashtanga. really difficult for me since i have no upper body strength whatsoever.

i would be thinking 15 minutes into the class: "wtf am i doing here? i don't need to be doing this. fuck this guy." etc etc, but i stuck it out and it was great.

i found myself humming, kind of vague... i.e. how most people probably are normally.

got me thinking. inspired, i guess you'd say. thanks.

Paint new stripes on a Zebra, it is still a Zebra. I don't think he will survive his Copyright issues. I'm glad to hear you are enjoying it though. As a man, with man parts, there are many poses that I can't physically do. Too painful.

CindyDianne_tx

I struggled (back in the day when I was actually doing Bikram) #5, #7, #9 and #18 and #22.

I miss it.

rebecca

my instructor says that there will be asanas that are easier and some that are harder for you. those that are the harder asans for you, are the ones you need to do.

FWIW.

and good job, hon!

Margaret

Anything that is energizing is something that I should look into. I wonder if there is one around here, or if I'd have to go to Seattle.

Kathryn

You're an inspiration. If you can do this, the least I can do is get my butt in for one "wimpy" ashtanga yoga class a week.

steph

thats awesome! ive never done bikram yoga, but my girlfriend is a yoga instructor and she has recently (finally) gotten me into classes twice a week. i have to admit, i like it. i work out a lot, but you cant zone out during yoga like you can on a treadmill, so its been a new (and good) experience for me. good luck!

Nicole

You're going to be a MILF in no time.
