Tiffany suggested that "Your Halloween costume is to be 1/2 man, 1/2 woman, and lefty is hangin' with the Y chromosome."

I like the way you think, Tiffany! You're also the closest to the truth.

And that made me laugh.

So they both win a prize. I've sent them an e-mail about it, and should they accept what I have to give, I'll let all y'all know what it is.

This is where we ate brunch this morning.

Pretty Cool

This afternoon Allan and I walked to Rite Aid for a couple of things.

Just as we finished at the cash register, I saw a young man walk in the door. He was looking straight at me, and I knew exactly what he was going to ask.

"Can I ask you a random question? Is your name Alison?"

I smiled and said yes. I knew who the guy was even before he introduced himself to us.

He's one of our Flickr contacts.

Flickr is cool. So is Lexington.

Waiting

That's me. Just waiting. We're still tired from our killer party last weekend, and we're going to a wedding this weekend.

And I'm just waiting. I mean, this has all been fun, but I am looking forward to next week.

Off To Bed

Allan and I hosted a party this weekend. Three days. Twenty-eight people.

• The root canal this morning wasn't so bad. It'll be finished up November 8th.

I had my hair done today, and asked for both blonde and copper highlights. It's October, don'tcha know.
