Comments

Calista

John Wayne and Yul Brynner. And Hoss from Bonanza.

Yes, we watched lots of Westerns :-)

bhd

Oh for frick's sake. Bobby Sherman. Gah! Now I have to wash my brain out with soap!

Melissa

Chuck Woolery. (SP?) I was addicted to Love Connection because of him.

Beth

Oh, how fun.

Bernie Kopell from "The Love Boat" and Ricardo Montalban from "Fantasty Island."

Saturday nights were HEAVEN for me.

Lori-Lyn

Yeah, Rockford Files was hot stuff. To this day, I love the hear that theme song.

plain jane

Opie (Ron Howard) in Andy Griffith.

Michael C

Rudolph Mantooth was awesome. In fact, I made an 'Emergency' reference just today.

I had/have a thing for Mary Tyler Moore on the 'Dick Van Dyke Show.' And Erin Grey on Buck Rogers and Silver Spoons, and...I think I've already shared too much ;-)

elizabet

Bobby Sherman...and if it will make bhd feel any better - I'll admit to a life sized fold out poster hanging in my bedroom (then, not now). And Little Joe from Bonanza. And Heath from Big Valley. Thinking about this is almost (really) embarassing!

Karan

You will be able to tell that I'm old by my lusty girlish loves: I too loved Opie. I also had the hots for the Rifleman's son and Jay North. My sisters and I each picked a Beatle, a Monkee and a Here Comes the Brides Bolt brother to love. Mine were John Lennon, Mike Nesmith and Jason.

Aimee

I had a crush on MacGyver. I just watched an old episode dubbed in French last weekend and say there thinking what did I see in that frosted, feather haired man?

I also was into Scarecrow from Scarecrow and Mrs. King. Bruce Boxleitner. Why? I have no clue. I was young and I remember hurryin to get my homework done so I could watch the show with my parents.

And as a little girl I had a girl crush on Lynda Carter. I even had Wonder Woman undies and tank top. IN preschool I stripped down to my undies to play Wonder Woman and got in trouble.

Doc

David Hasselhoff in Knight Rider
(Did I just admit that? It just feels gross somehow))
And that Harry Anderson guy from Night Court.
And Chevy Chase and (ugh) Harold Ramus.

I think I'm going to go barf now...

Chris

I can honestly admit, I never had a crush on Bob Barker. Maybe some of his hot assistants, but never Bob.

token

Charlton Heston, Sam Groom, Sidney Pottier,
James Francisco, Yul Brenner, William Shatner, Scott Jacoby, Michael Douglas, David Soul, Eric Idle---it's an endless list, you know!

Emil

I second Michael's Erin Grey--especially from the Buck Rogers days.
I don't remember the actress' name, but I had a big crush on Athena (Adama, I think) on the original Battlestar Galactica. Now I have a crush on Grace Park, who plays Athena on the new Battlestar Galactica.
Then there was Kate Jackson and Olivia Newton-John. Actually, ONJ is the first crush I can remember.

sizzle

Shawn Cassidy
MacGyver
Michael J. Fox (I'm still enamored of him)

cassie-b

I can go with James Garner too. And there must be more, I'll just have to think.

My mother had crushes on Walter Cronkite, and Hugh Downs. I remember her talking about them.

Denise

Leif Garrett, Scott Baio and Shaun Cassidy. There. I feel better already.

Oh, and in 9th grade I was head over heels for Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran, who had pink hair and wore more makeup than I did.

Ahem. We won't even get into my 18-year-old Jim Morrison obsession. Unfortunately, you know that one firsthand. ;-)

sandra

Peter Jennings, Pat Sajak.

Suzanne

James Garner rules! Since I was 13 and saw Maverick - the series NOT the movie! LOL!

Anica

I had a crush on Burt Convey of Tattle Tales. HUGE! and Tim Conway on the Carol Burnett Show and Dean Martin.

Margaret

I thought Randolph was sexy--and I watched that Emergency show all the time. James Garner has always had a certain charm or twinkle that I am attracted to. Of course, I also fully intended to be Mrs. George Harrison. Never worked out.

Another Aligator

Mmmm. I still <3 James Garner... *especially* as Cash McCall. ;-)

I had a MAJOR crush on Harrison Ford, as Han Solo, between the ages of 5 and 20. Not my first crush, though. That honor belongs to Batman.

The current raging crushes are *slightly* more age appropriate: Nathan Fillion, Jensen Ackles and Bruce Willis (for 20 years... ACK!).
^_^

panthergirl

I used to make out with Paul Newman (my pillow).

I loved Richard Chaimberlain as Dr. Kildaire, and I would hide behind the couch when I changed into my PJs because I thought he might see me. (As if he would care, but I didn't know that then!)

I loved James Garner too. And Steve McQueen! Yum!

AlisonM

Randy Mantooth here, too. And William Shatner. Jeff Goldblum and Huey Lewis (I developed a taste for the more geeky older guy as I grew up. My taste for them rather than the pretty boys distinguished me from my peers, I thought, as somehow more sophisticated. BWAHAHAHAHA!!!)

winter

Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman - she's still gorgeous, in fact. Also Patricia McPherson on "Knight Rider".

kim

Ricky Schroeder from silver spoons...and the blonde from real people..does anyone remember that show??

GarnerGirl

James Garner is the handsomest man who ever walked the planet Earth!

Teresa

OHMYGAWD! I thought I was the only one with a Hoss Cartwright (Dan Blocker) crush! And Adam Cartwright, when he wasn't being all dark and brooding and mean.

Adn sticking with Westerns for a moment, I loved Nick Barkley. Never Heath and Jerred, only Nick.

And I loved Michael Jackson... and for a short time Marlon Jackson, after he grew out of that ackward stage and became the handsomest one of the lot.

Oh, yes, I loved William Shatner, too. I loved him for the longest time - until I saw him as T.J. Hooker. To my young addled brain, I thought Star Trek was still in production. Silly me.

Suzy

I am totally with you on the James Garner thing! Still!

meredith

I loved Randolph Mantooth!!!!!

Catheroo

Randolph Mantooth was HAWT. I also loved Dirk Benedict, and...uhm...ohmigod I'm going to admit this...Fred Grandy. Yes, Gopher from the Love Boat.

gina

Kenny Rogers and Michael Jackson. Go ahead and laugh. I know you wanna. ;)

lori houlihan

1. Donny Osmond
2. Jack Wild
3. David Cassidy
4. All of the Monkees
5. Glen Campbell
6. Dean Martin
7. The good looking guy on the Carol Burnett show
Shall I go on? Obviously age was never an issue for me.

lori houlihan

OMG! I left out William Shatner. I ADORED him.

lori houlihan

OMG! I left out William Shatner. I ADORED him. Keep in mind that these are just my preteen crushes and it's a short list at that. There are more. I was boy crazy from the moment I came out of the womb

AndreAnna

Someone already mentioned this, but MacGuyver made my special place tingle. ;)

I guess he's not on the embarassing crush side, so if it helps, I also had a thing for David Hasslehoff when Baywatch was aplenty.

Edie

Randolph Mantooth here also. I was really little, watching Emergency. I had my doll propped up on my little table so she could see "Daddy" on TV. It was an episode where he got bit by a rattlesnake. I cried and carried on.. OMG don't die! Dont dieeeeeee! Comforted the doll and all. Later when I was older it was Rick Springfield. Sigh.

azmum

Peter Tork from the Monkees and later on Tom Selleck, who still does it for me.

Lusty

Speed Racer
Million Dollar Man
All of Lassie's Timmys

Catherine

Uh, Denise....Nick Rhodes?!?!?!?! YACK!!!! Simon Lebon and/or John Taylor...THAT'S understandable!! But Nick Rhodes?!?!?!?! He's ugly!!
