Some of my blog friends have posted a list of resolutions or intentions for 2007.
I don't think I can do that, make a long list.
Allan and I talked about the coming year at lunch today. We are both on the same wavelength about 2007. It's good to have a soul mate!
I guess my main goal for next year is to get a little more self-discipline. I'm a notorious procrastinator. I start things but don't finish them (case in point: scrapbooks). I know. I suck.
A few weeks ago I was invited to be part of a Flickr group called My 2007 Daily Photo Diary. I accepted the invitation (along with 1300 of my closest friends), and starting tomorrow, I will take a self-portrait every day and post it to my discussion topic in the group's forum. It ought to be interesting. Sure, it's a self-centered exercise, but I'm still figuring a few things out about myself. And it will require some creativity. I'm sure not going to stand in front of the mirror and snap a photo every damn day.
This project seems feasible. It's also an easy "intention" to have for the New Year, and will force me to have a modicum of self-discipline.
If you have a Flickr account, and would like to participate in the Daily Photo Diary, I can invite you. If you don't have a Flickr account, what are you waiting for?
Do you have any goals/resolutions/intentions for 2007?

I'd like to participate - mind inviting me? My username there is chicanerii.

All of my 'resolutions' are goals for getting my business up and running in 2007. Maybe then I can but a really nice camera.
Happy New year to you and Allan. And, good work on keeping him around!

I just posted them. They are really simple.

Matte suggested we take and post a photo every day too! But we don't want to do all self-portraits though...we're not that creative on a daily basis. Does the Daily Photo Diary allow non-portrait type photos? If so, I wanna play with you guys!

I've just posted my 'aims and objectives', I don't really do resolutions successfully.
Good luck with the photo project!

my resolution I am most looking forward to is rearranging the furniture in every room & painting--- creating a totally new look.

I do have a Flickr account, but can't remember my user name or password. This is what always happens to me. Even though I don't do resolutions, maybe I should keep a list of my various user names and passwords for accounts.

my new years intention is to go earlier to bed & get up earlier (sais Heimo the night bat) - but it's tempting if your job starts at 4:30 p.m. - the other million intensions I won't mention here..

My biggest resolution is to stop pissing off my mother just by opening my mouth. Of course, to accomplish this will require her to stop giving me hell everytime I speak. Yeah, I'm off to a fine start with this year eh? lol

I resolve not to make any resolutions. See now I won't have to blog about how I keep breaking them. ;)

Happy New Year, Alison! I just read over at Allen's blog what happened... goodness.

"I start things but don't finish them (case in point: scrapbooks). I know. I suck."
Resolution #2 - Don't ever say you suck, because you don't.
Have a Happy New Year, both of you.

Hey Ali,
I like your pared down list of goals. I'm very good at getting some things done, but others I procrastinate with the best of them! If I can figure out how to upload photos, I'll join flickr. Sounds cool.

For 2007, I would like to keep breathing and remain more or less upright. It's all gravy after that.

I've signed up...now I just need to do it!

Every year I resolve to not make any resolutions. Happy New Year!
