Allan, the moment I dished up a slice of quiche on his plate:
"Egg pizza! Mmmmm..."
Okay, maybe you need to know that Allan doesn't like eggs. At all.
He likes my quiche, though.

No eggs. I have a chicken vagina allergy.

Did I really just write that?
I am so repulsive. Feel free to kick me out of your blogroll.
Still, I really feel that way.

I, on the other hand, adore eggs, quiche, and will cover for Mist here. It's the gallant thing to do. Avert your eyes, Mist, please.

When I read that all I could think of was my nephews, who have definite food likes and dislikes, and for whom my husband often resorts to making airplane noises with a spoon as a distraction mechanism. I don't suppose the same would work for Allan and eggs? :)

no eggs for me please. unless deviled, poached or in a quiche. and frankly, none of those count because they either have a sauce or stuff in it... so then it doesn't taste like egg.

Allan's comment reminds me of when I was living in KY and was big into cross-stitching. I was working on a pattern and my then boyfriend's brother came up and said "Ooh, whatchya makin'? A yarn picture?"

What a great description of quiche! And it's clear that Allan is a very smart man to eat that which you make-- whether or not he likes it.

Luckily for me, I have no problem with vaginas, fowl, foul or fallow.
Yes, that DOES sound rough and disgusting, but when you wanna make an omelette, you have to break a few hard shelled ova passed from a chicken's "hoo-haa."

I am a fan of eggs in all their forms except poached. (too slimy) I adore quiche, omelettes, fritatas. scrambled eggs, etc...

Egg Pizza, I love it!
I also don't like eggs. I'm a vegetarian and in the 70s and that was the top choice of a dish to cook when you were having a vegetarian over for dinner.

As I've gotten older, eggs are not agreeing with me as much. But still, I cannot give them up because I love omletters, scrambles, and even the occasional egg pizza ;-)

When I go back to the USA, everybody DEMANDS I make them a few quiches lorraines -- as it it was such a gourmet thing!

Don't they actually do an egg pizza thing in France where they make a pizza, break and egg over the top of it then sorta fold it in half and serve it to you raw-like?
And ew... Bard used the words 'vaginas' and 'yeast' in the same comment!! *blech* :)

Mmmm - I love quiche. My Bookend makes an awesome crust - which is really the key to it. :)
