This post was suggested by the folks at Stop Bitacle.org. Since everything I publish ends up at Bitacle, this is a way to generate negative press for them. I'll leave this post on top for a few days. Actually, I don't know when I'll be blogging again, so it'll probably stay at the top of the page anyway.

Scary! And I'm sure Bitacle is not the only one doing this.

Don't you feel violated? I am curious to look at their site, but that would only lead them to me.
I imagine they go after popular blogs, so I guess in some weird way you could feel complimented, but I imagine you feel violated, which you damn well should!
In the meantime, you can blog elsewhere for free, so that your faithful readers don't have to go off the wagon and suffer painful withdrawal symptoms!

wow, that sounds illegal, but I'm sure they have found some sort of loophole.

You can always publish on my site Ali, it's not like a ton of people breathlessly awaits my next word. My blog isn't anywhere as nice as this. But they don't know I'm alive either.

I don't quite understand the whole concept behind Bitacle. On the other hand, did I get this right - you're giving up blogging?
Posted by: Elisabeth | September 25, 2006 at 21:14
I'm not giving up blogging, but right now I don't much feel like posting anything.

Ali,
I hope you'll reconsider,
you are a pleasure to read
think Desiderada:
"
Exercise caution in your business affairs,
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
Many persons strive for high ideals,
and everywhere life is full of heroism."

I don't know how they can get away with this crap. Hey don't stay away too long, okay. I need my Alison fix nearly daily you know.

Man, I had no idea that problems like that exist.
Cheers Alison :)

i don't think this is happening to me, i'm new to blogging, don't use typepad (though i think i may move to it soon) don't really blog much of interest, and don't blog all that frequently...but with your permission, i'd like to put this problem up in my blog, quoting a lot of what you've said here. if that's cool with you. (if not, no big deal.) i think everyone should be aware that this is happening. it's not right.
p.s. LOOK ALI - i used "it's" and not "its" correctly this time! :)
