Contrary to what some people think, I do work, and I've got more on my plate right now than ever before — although everything is relative. I should clarify that I have more going on right now than I have had in the past year.
The funny thing is, it's not much, if you compare it to what I used to do. But I am having trouble getting started. This month I have two articles due for the local paper I write for, instead of one. That's not such a big deal, but I still need to arrange to interview someone for the articles.
The biggie is a job someone sought me out to do; it's a type of writing I've never done before. I think fear of screwing up has kept me from really sinking my teeth into it. Well, that, and the fact that we were gone for two weekends in a row. But I had told myself I'd get started on the project yesterday, and I didn't do it.
Procrastination is my middle name. Oh, I get the job done. On time, even. But that middle part is all about me hemming and hawing and finding other ways to spend my time.
I always say I am going to stop procrastinating, then I never do it. *chuckle*

I think 'Procrastination' is the most popular middle name out there.
(isn't it ironic that the thing that brings in NO money -- blogging - is always so easy to do?)

There's money on the line? I'm on my way over, I'll get coffee on the way. Charge.

I always try to honor my inner procrastinator-- it seems like the polite thing to do. But, of course, that's just me the poster child for Lollygaggers Unlimited.

Seems to me that this entry a demonstration about how you might procrastinate on getting a job done. *chuckle* Case in point, n'est-ce pas? :-)
