Yes, I was born with a plastic toy on my foot. Fortunately, the problem was corrected, but I had to have many reconstructive surgeries. It was a slow and painful rehabilitation.

I'm sure that I went through an awkward stage too. However, the great fire of 19xx destroyed every photo ever taken of me (pre-braces).

I love the old photos! I did this a while back. It was a trip through memory lane to see my grandparents, and younger siblings.(who are now deceased)

You were a very pretty baby. :) Plus you had that wise beyond your age thing going on in your eyes. High intelligence, that's what it looks like to me.
