Here's a little food pr0n for you. We got these organic babies at the local farmers' market. I ate two of them (the eggs, not the farmers) for lunch. My accompanying salad had an orange tomato on it. Not yellow. Orange.

It was a very satisfying lunch.

EDIT: Holy crap, what a BORING entry! Just wait until I take photos of the remaining orange tomato. Yeah, that'll perk things up!

I absolutely adore eggs, and organic ones are dynamite. And, yes, eggs have to be brown. Last time I was at a farmer's market was in Omagh, Northern Ireland (back in early June), with my friends and hosts, and I saw duck eggs (which were kinds of blueish/greenish), and I had to get some. We had them for breakfast the next morning, and they were delicious. I also liked pigeons eggs as a kid, because they were so damn cute when cooked sunny side up.

The orange tomato rocks. Nothing you'd ever find where I live - although I have not checked the local roadside produce stands lately.

p.s.- I don't find the topic of eggs boring in itself.
