I had a job interview on Tuesday. I'd applied for a job with this company in May. May, people.
They called me out of the blue last week and asked me if I was still interested. I really wasn't, but I said yes, because unemployed people don't turn down interviews.
It was a three-hour tour deal, where four of us got to sit and listen to the spiel about the company, then we each had individual interviews. About fifteen minutes into the spiel, I started saying to myself "Don't want this job, don't want this job..." I was convinced of that fact when the guy making the presentation told us all to take notes.
I had my little individual interview, and I will be hired if I want. Thing is, this is not the kind of job you take for main income. It's secondary. I'm not sure it's worth it to sign a contract, because I might not be here in three months.

"I might not be here in three months" ... is this one of them foreshadowing comments?

I've been on this job for 55 days(who's countin?!)Today I was approached about full time employment.*sheesh*...I need the benefits, but I don't really want this job! I think I'll stall a little while.

Hmmm what kind of job is it? and this really prompted the question... where WILL you be in 3 months? ;-)

I hope you'll be where I THINK you'll be in three months. And, at least it's nice to be wanted, right? The job market is a lonely one and when in it I grasp hold of any accolade or reinforcement shot my way. Good luck with your decision!

Three words: values, goals and interests. They should match. (another three..)
