It's time to go back to France. Can you see my little frowny, pouty face?
The week was short but sweet. Allan and I did a lot of fun stuff: saw Harry Potter, attended two UK basketball games, bought furniture, ripped up carpet, cooked good food, ate good food, and just had an all-around good time together.
Early this afternoon I'm flying to Chicago, then after a three-hour tour layover, I'm flying to Paris. I arrive in Paris at about 9:30 a.m. local time Tuesday morning. I have to wait a few hours for my train. My friend Ken is picking me up at the train station at 5 p.m., then it's an hour's drive back to SmallTown.
I don't know why I'm writing all those travel details. I'm probably just reiterating for my own sake. Anyway, my next post will be from my abode in Francelation. See you there.

Thank you for making our house feel like a home again.
You belong here. I can't wait until you live here.
Bon voyage my darling. I love you.

Alison,
It was a great pleasure to finally meet you! I hope that you get to return soon (and maybe in a situation where we can see you more often).
Have a safe trip!

My first Thanksgiving back in the States was a special one, that is for sure.

What??!! You're going home already!?? Jeepers, you two are going to be fried from air travel. Makes me wish the Concorde still existed, if only for your sakes :)
Glad you and Allan had a wonderful time. Safe trip home. :)

I read Allan's blog first and already know that you are having trouble flight wise. Hope you get back safely despite the delays.
Glad you two had a great time!
