I really ought to come up with nicknames for my kids. They have nicknames, of course, but here I refer to them as C. and T. Not very fun. This morning I spent some time reading blogs not on my roll. Mir refers to her kids as Chickadee and Monkey. Dooce refers to her child as Leta, which is her real name.
I guess I could just call my kids what I call them in real life.
C. = Shasha
T. = TT
Shasha is 10 and in 5th grade. TT is 7 and is in 2nd grade.
They are my pride and joy. They are the reason I have no regrets about living in France.
I was going to ask you if you used the French or English pronunciation of their names, or both. I guess you have nicknames for them anyway.

I use the English pronunciation. Their dad uses the French.

TT & Shasha - that sounds like the typical french nicknames - this typical repeating the same syllable twice - I remember some french friends, called 'Nono' - 'Jeje' (spoken shayshay), Didi etc. - my old french friend Tantin called his son as baby 'Mimi'..

Comment dit-on Gaston en Anglais ?
