Sans la tache rouge et les deux batonnets marrons, j'aurais dit une crêpe ... je sèche.

You're soaking in it!

It looks like you're cooking up a batch of mulled wine.
It also looks like a face, a la the Man in the Moon.

umm it actually looks very gross but i think that brown thing looks like a cinnamon stick so probably some mulled wine?

A cinnamon stick in a petri dish.

I can see an elderly graceful gentleman trying to pull the bait/hook back out of an extremely ugly fish's mouth!

I didn't know that Mr. Moon looks already that wasted, bad skin, pimples, all wrinkled - his big once dreamy eyes now are diminuished to these little narrow pig eyes - the mouth swollen to an thoughtfull Churchill expression - yeah Mr. Moon - we got to talk - you shouldn't let them take your photograph taken in that state..

Yeah, I see the face. Or its what Venus looks like under the layer of gas. Or a cinnamon stick in something murky. Or...a giant cinnamon stick on the surface of Venus.
