WTF?

I was not aware of this until just a few minutes ago. I'm too annoyed to wait around and let a blog entry mature in my brain, so I'm just going to spew forth.

First of all, whatever happened to freedom of speech?
Second, don't get me started on the PATRIOT ass act.

I don't know all the facts, and via the screenshot at La Vache, I can't really read everything that was written about W. But does a LiveJournal entry really constitute a threat to the "President"? What about the "real" terrorists? What resources are being used to find them?

Yeah, I'm ranting. And I sincerely hope that in four days we'll have a new president.

And maybe I'll just shut up now, because although the FBI already has me on file, I wouldn't want to say anything to piss them off and maybe get on that no-fly list. The United States still is my country, and I want to be able to go back there in spite of the downturn it's taken in these past few years.
