I'll post the rest of the photos in thumbnail form.
Notice the satellite dishes below the medieval fortress wall and above the house:
The light was shining through this rooster's comb. You can't see it here, but the thing was almost glowing:
We continued walking along this fenced in area, and suddenly heard noise and movement in the tall grass inside the fence. I thought a couple of dogs were running toward us, but no:
They were young goats, and quite tame. I think they expected us to have carrot nubs and old lettuce for them.
A bit after that we crossed the Seugne, and came across the aire de loisirs. My friend Donna calls it "Air of the Losers." It burned down a couple of weeks ago.
There was a playground at the Air of the Losers. It was intact, so the kids played there for a while before we moved on to the St. Vivien church. This window was in the alcove with the baptismal font.
It was a nice walk and a nice way to wind up the weekend. I wish I could give you more detail, but right now I just can't write it down in an interesting way. They say a picture tells a thousand words, though. So look at my pictures while I kick back and listen to Pink Floyd.

It sounds like you had a very nice end to the weekend. The images are lovely. I especially like the rooster and the church window.
The fortress is cool as well.
